It’s time for our weekly roundup of tweets from BIPOC, LGBTQIAP+, and/or otherwise underrepresented writers, reviewers, and list curators. If you don’t already, please follow these accounts and be sure to always retweet the original post.

Help pick July’s book for @polyambookclub and get some really good recs in this list of options.

Have you see this call for submissions for African Stories?

A big list of pride month recs but let’s be honest it’s building our list for the whole year.

More recs specifically Latinx and carribean authors and this list is mighty! Your TBR pile will grow by a lot when you check it out.

The language publishers use to describe characters in blurbs is important, and when it’s misused, it can be harmful. Corey does an excellent job breaking this all down in this thread.

We hope you have a week filled with books and joy and all the good things! And if we have missed anything important, please let us know. You can submit anonymous feedback or DM us on Twitter at @sparkjoyromance

If you appreciate the work we do, please consider buying us a Ko-Fi to help fund our giveaways of romances by underrepresented authors.
